Lisa's Grove sign Come spend the day or camp overnight at Liz’s Grove, a new site for birders and nature lovers of all types. This site connects the Boyce-Thompson Arboretum, Pinal Peak, San Pedro River riparian area, and the Arivaipa Wilderness. Primitive camping, but privacy is guaranteed. (Small campers okay; there is an RV park down the road a few miles.)

No fee currently, we're just taking donations to the cause. However, we ask that you call first for reservations. This is privileged access only. Please go to www.lizsgrove.com for full information.

Note: the land is private but adjoins The Nature Conservancy and is an excellent sanctuary for the Willow Fly-catcher. (We have a great viewing area!) Special birds? The list is growing, but this is the best place in Arizona to see the Mississippi Kite. It’s also great for Zone-tailed and Gray hawks. AND we have a flourishing colony of leopard frogs in our cool, clear San Pedro River!
