If you've ever been to one of our Outstanding in the Field dinners, you know they are superb. The view, the food, the wine, the company- the fellowship.
This time around we're wanting to really emphasize our regional fare - sourcing and supporting as many local food producers as we can, pairing with local wine producers, making connections with enthusiastic Arizona organizations and generally creating a venue for a classy, fun, "conscientious consumption" showcase. All while selling at a price point that is much more approachable.
We thought: why not release it during the holiday season, when gifting becomes a daunting task and coming up with something unique becomes a chore? Gifting something like this has a special meaning; our "Green" theme will particularly delight the nature lover or foodie in your family.
And, if you've never had the honor of tasting chef John Hall's food before, you are in for a treat. John Hall, founder of southern Arizona's famed Canela Bistro and now currently with James Beard award-winning Bianco Group (Pizzeria and Bar Bianco, Pane Bianco, Italian Restaurant), is Arizona's best kept chef secret. Someone that understands what it's like to dig deep to find the best of what's being produced and is even willing to forage it himself if need be. He knows how to perfectly balance our distinctive local flavors to create sublime dishes that truly highlight what our region can produce. He will be crafting a six-course dining experience that will astound.
