Message: Greetings,
I am a student at Pima Community College in Tucson, who's helping to coordinate an event promoting local foods. The event is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Slow Foods Movement. We will also be focusing on the community garden at the college, as well as raising awareness of other food organizations in the region.
We would love to have you involved, either helping to staff a food table or simply provide pamphlets about the Double Check Ranch.
The event will be hosted by the Desert Vista Campus on Thursday December 10 from 11am-2pm.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for you time,
Sierra (865) 323 2704

Message: We have ordered from you several times at the OV Farmer's Market and have been very happy! We would be very interested in attending your Open Ranch day. However, due to our son's nap schedule, we cannot make an afternoon. Any chance that you could make it at 10 am in the upcoming months? Sorry, Walking J Ranch is too far for us. Thanks!

Message: Wow! When does your fan club meet?

I'm still getting started with poultry and rabbits myself, but I love your site and completely agree with your food philosophy (if I may call it that).

Hope I can pick up some of your beef sometime, and I truly wish you the best of luck in your operation!

I am THRILLED to have found this website via Ingrid Novodvorsky and her husband Chris! My 18 year old daughter, Moriah, has tried to be vegan. She is having a rough time of it since she loves beef but conscientiously is opposed to how today's animals are treated and more importantly, WHAT'S IN THE MEAT! I grew up on a dairy farm in Central Pennsylvania and your way of raising beef is how we did it: super organically; beyond organic. I cannot wait to order beef from you, my daughter will be able to have a free conscience, and the animal protein will be inordinately good for her body and stamina. She's a cheerleader, singer and sweet young woman opening up to the realities of life. THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE. This is a happy day for me. (P.S. I milked cows by hand all my young life growing up on that magical farm...)

I'll be sure to visit one of the Tucson farmer's markets and find you there. PS Your website is friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and well-written. Keep up the great work, and thank goodness there are still a few anti-big-corporate-businesses like yours!

We picked a couple pounds of your sirloin this past weekend at the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market, and after trying 4 other Arizona grass fed ranches tonight we tried one of the steaks and your beef was far superior to any other cut of grass fed beef we have had. We started the meal off with a simple salad from the veggies we got at the market and then grilled the steak paired with a hash of fingerling potatoes, local bacon and fennel and opened up a nice bottle of Callaghan Vineyards AZ wine. It was one of the best meals we have had in months. Thank you for helping us eat healthy, helping our planet stay healthy and keeping my dollars in Arizona. If you ever run that sirloin special again let us know and we will be happy to take quite a few pounds off your hands.
Thanks again,
Brian Preston
